    Order confirmation and contract signing

    → South American dealer/customer submits order

    → BYD confirms order details (model, quantity, configuration, etc.)

    → Signing international trade contract (Incoterms terms are clear, such as FOB, CIF, etc.)

    → BYD factory produces vehicles according to order

    → Completion of pre-factory quality inspection (in compliance with Chinese and South American standards)

    → Vehicle VIN registration and export document preparation

    Export Customs Clearance and Documentation Preparation

    → Preparation of export documents:

    - Commercial Invoice

    - Packing List

    - Certificate of Origin (COO, may need to be certified by CCPIT)

    - Certificate of Conformity (COC)

    - Bill of Lading (B/L)

    - Insurance policy (if CIF terms)

    → Declare the export to China Customs and complete the customs declaration procedures

    International Transportation (mainly by sea)

    → Reservation of container or Ro-Ro Ship (Ro-Ro Ship)

    → Vehicle transportation to Chinese ports (e.g. Shanghai port, Shenzhen port)

    → Load the ship and issue the bill of lading for sea transportation

    → Sea transportation to major ports in South America (e.g. Port of San Antonio, Chile, Port of Santos, Brazil, Port of Callao, Peru, etc.)

    → South American importer/agent submits customs clearance documents:

    - Bill of Lading (exchange of bills of lading)

    - Import license (required by some countries)

    - Local certification documents (such as Brazil INMETRO certification, Chile 3CV certification, etc.)

    → Payment of customs duties, value-added tax (tax rates vary by South American countries, such as Brazil, about 35%)

    → Customs inspection (may involve environmental protection, safety standards testing)

    → Vehicle transfer to dealer's warehouse after customs clearance

    → Local logistics distribution (land transportation or railroad)

    → Final delivery to customers or 4S stores
